The Reptile Hotel is looking for a motivated Marketing Apprentice to join our team and help us grow our unique and exciting business. You will work across our three brands that offer everything for reptiles and pets. About The Reptile Hotel: The Reptile Hotel is a state-of-the-art specialist reptile store known for its outstanding service and attention to detail, we provide tailored setups and support for our customers to ensure they have everything they need to provide the best care for their pets both instore and online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with out wider team to brainstorm and develop creative campaigns that showcase the best of The Reptile Hotel.
- Assist in managing our social media platforms, creating engaging content, and interacting with our online community.
- Contribute to the creation of written and visual content for marketing materials, including blog posts, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Help coordinate and execute special events and promotions to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
- Support the implementation of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, email marketing, and online advertising, including PPC advertising.
- Monitor, analyse and report on the performance of marketing initiatives and provide insights to optimise future campaigns.
- Manage product information and pricing where appropriate.
- Manage multiple Shopify stores, ensuring they are always up to date.
Requirements
Required -
- Some understanding of marketing principles and a keen eagerness to learn and develop further marketing skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Creativity and the ability to think outside the box.
- Proficiency in using social media platforms, including making short videos for TikTok and Instagram.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience using Microsoft office products like Excel and Word.
 Preferred, but not essential -
- Experience using Adobe products, like Photoshop and Premier Pro.
- Experience with online shopping platforms like Shopify, Amazon, Ebay, Etsy etcÂ
