Pangea FIG & Insects Complete Gecko Diet, 2oz

Pangea Fig & Insects, a gecko food formula that is perfect for geckos that don't enjoy the banana flavor. Our team has created a unique blend of base fruits that include fig, while maintaining very low levels of Oxalic acid. We have increased the amount of insects in this formula, with crickets and black soldier fly larvae as the primary source of protein. In fact, this formula has twice the amount of insects as our original "With Insects" formula.

Please note that this formula is thinner than other Pangea formulas due to the absence of bananas. However, geckos seem to enjoy the texture of this mix. We recommend starting with smaller amounts so that you can see your geckos eat it. We will be offering this formula for a few months to receive customer feedback before deciding whether or not to make it a permanent addition to our gecko food lineup.

To prepare, mix 1 part powder to 2 parts water until you achieve the desired consistency. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 7 days once prepared. The dry mix can be stored for 6 months at room temperature or up to 1 year in the refrigerator. The unopened mix has a shelf life of 2 years. Occasional insect feedings are recommended but optional.

Our ingredients include organic dried mango, dried apricot, insect meal, micellar casein, organic dried fig, organic natural fig flavor, calcium carbonate, di-calcium phosphate, organic natural berry flavor, ground flaxseed, lecithin, algae meal, malic acid, potassium sorbate, xanthan gum, mixed tocopherols, choline chloride, sodium chloride, ferrous fumarate, beta-carotene, inositol, niacin, kelp meal, ascorbic acid, cholecalciferol (D3), riboflavin, thiamine mononitrate, vitamin A, pyridoxine hydrochloride, biotin, folic acid, sulfur, zinc oxide, and vitamin B12.

Our guaranteed analysis includes a minimum of 22% crude protein, 5% crude fat, and a maximum of 8% crude fiber, 6% moisture, and 8% ash.
